Who we are

This website, www.fly-design.org, is operated by FlyDesign Studio (Jakub Huck-Milbrat), based in France. If you have any questions about your personal data, please contact us at [email protected].

What data we collect

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and the content of your message.

When you buy a scenery, your order is processed directly on our website and paid through Stripe or PayPal. We receive your name, email address, country, the product purchased, the order number and the licence key issued to you. We never see or store your card or bank details. These are handled exclusively by the payment providers.

When you browse the website, our hosting and security providers automatically record technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages visited. This is used for security and to keep the website running properly.

Cookies

We only use cookies that are necessary for the website to work. Any optional cookies, such as statistics, are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time.

Why we use your data

We use your data to deliver the sceneries you purchase, together with download links and licence keys, to answer your questions and provide technical support, to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and to protect the website against misuse. We only send you news or updates if you have agreed to receive them.

Who processes your data

Your data is handled by the following service providers, only to the extent necessary for their service:
IONOS (website hosting, order processing and email), Cloudflare (domain, security and file downloads), Stripe and PayPal (payments). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union. In that case they rely on the legal safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep your data

Order and invoice data is kept for 10 years, as required by French accounting law. Messages sent through the contact form are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. Licence information is kept as long as it is needed to support your purchase.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to request a copy of your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. If you believe your data is not handled correctly, you may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services change. The current version is always available on this page.
