EPKK Kraków-Balice Airport was FlyDesign’s first airport scenery project. As one of Poland’s busiest international airports, Kraków Airport is a popular destination for flight simulation enthusiasts.

Our scenery recreates the airport and its surroundings with carefully modelled buildings, airport infrastructure and recognizable landmarks, including the Wisła Kraków football stadium.

John Paul II International Airport Kraków-Balice (EPKK/KRK) is located approximately 11 km west of Kraków city centre. Serving southern Poland and the historic city of Kraków, the airport handles domestic and international flights and provides an important gateway to the region.

Kraków Airport is equipped with ILS, NDB and DVOR navigation systems. Runway 25 features a 900-metre ALPA-ATA CAT II approach lighting system with sequenced flashing lights and an ILS CAT I approach. Runway 07 has a simplified 420-metre SALS approach lighting system. The airport apron covers approximately 90,000 m² and provides 23 aircraft parking stands for Code C aircraft.

FlyDesign EPKK Airport Scenery is developed using official AIP Poland aeronautical information. We regularly update our scenery to reflect real-world airport developments, including new aircraft parking stands, apron expansions and changes to airport infrastructure, keeping the virtual airport as close to reality as possible.

Experience Kraków-Balice Airport with FlyDesign EPKK Airport Scenery for X-Plane 11 and 12. Enjoy regional and international flights while exploring the carefully recreated airport infrastructure and surrounding landmarks.
